The graduation is tomorrow. Or the wedding. Or the reunion nobody wanted to miss. Tonight the real reason you came is happening. The kids have claimed their corner. Someone pours another drink. Stories get louder around that ridiculously long table. Nobody disappears down a hotel hallway when the night ends. This 1830s house gives your people something hotels can't: the weekend together. Room to gather. Room to disappear. And enough character to make this trip one you'll talk about long after.

A few things to know before you book:

PRIMARY GUEST
The guest who books must be at least 25 years old and must stay at the home for the entire reservation. The primary guest is responsible for everyone in their group and any visitors.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking. This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same. It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage. It takes about two minutes, and there is no app to download and no account or password to create. We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete.

THE HOME
This is the main house on a property with three homes. The house is yours; the pool is shared with guests in the cottage and the cabin. It was built in the 1830s and is nearly 200 years old. It has central heating and air, but indoor temperatures may be less even than in a modern build during extreme weather. The outdoor walkways use repurposed materials and can be uneven or slick.

HOUSE RULES
• Maximum 12 overnight guests
• Quiet hours 9 pm to 8 am
• No parties or events
• No smoking or vaping
• Pets welcome: up to 2 (dogs 60 lb or under; some breeds are restricted for insurance). $50 pet fee per stay covers all pets. Please add pets to your reservation.
• Fireplaces are not for use
• No visitors at the pool beyond the guests on your reservation
• No commercial photography or filming without our written approval (see below)
• Please lock the front door each time you leave. It does not lock automatically

DURING YOUR STAY
Our cleaning, maintenance, and guest-support team works hard to make your stay great. Airbnb expects guests to be considerate and respectful of hosts and everyone they meet during a stay, and we ask the same toward our team, vendors, and neighbors. Concerns are always welcome. Verbal abuse, threats, or harassment of anyone on our team will be reported to Airbnb.

Please tell us about any damage as soon as it happens so we can sort it out fairly. Please keep total people on the property, including daytime visitors, within the guest limit. Please leave the exterior cameras and the indoor noise monitor connected and uncovered.

Commercial photography or filming is only allowed with our written approval before your stay. Approval requires a commercial general liability policy of at least $1,000,000 naming Dreamline Suites as an additional insured. All house rules, guest limits, and parking rules still apply.

POOL SAFETY (please read before anyone gets in)
The pool is seasonal: open May 1 through September and closed October through April. It is not heated.
• A parent or responsible adult must supervise children at the pool at all times. An older child is not a substitute for a parent. Drowning happens quickly and quietly; if a child goes missing, check the pool first
• No lifeguard is on duty. Guests swim at their own risk and assume all liability for pool use
• Keep the self-closing, self-latching gate closed and latched. Never prop it open
• The ring buoy and rescue hook are emergency equipment, not toys. Guests are responsible for damage caused by misuse
• The pool is 4 feet deep throughout. No diving
• Keep children away from drains, pipes and other openings. No pets in the pool and no glass near the pool
• Pool rules are also posted on the fence and in your house manual. Know the property address in case you need emergency services

PARKING & GETTING IN
Park in the semicircle driveway at the front of the main house. There are four to five stairs up to the front door, where the smart lock deadbolt is. The cottage and cabin have their own separate driveway, divided by a white picket fence.

PETS
Please leash pets and clean up after them outdoors, out of courtesy to guests in the other homes. Crate pets when left alone, keep them off beds and furniture, and keep them out of the pool. Service animals are always welcome, with no fee.

EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECKOUT
Available on request when the cleaning schedule allows. $20 per hour, one-hour minimum. Message us and we'll check with our cleaning team. With five bedrooms, early check-in and late checkout are not offered on same-day turnovers here.

BEFORE CHECKOUT
Before you head out, please leave used dishes in the kitchen sink or dishwasher, gather used towels in the tub, put trash in the kitchen bin, take your food and belongings, and turn off the lights and A/C. Our cleaning team handles the rest.

SECURITY & MONITORING
For the safety and security of our guests and the property, motion-activated cameras are installed on the exterior only. They record audio and video and monitor entrances and outdoor areas. No cameras monitor any indoor area. An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only. It does not record audio or video.

Access

The house is exclusively yours, without interruption during your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.

Park in the semicircle driveway at the front of the house. There are four to five stairs up to the front door, which has an electronic smart lock deadbolt. Your code is released in your digital guidebook once your rental agreement is signed, your check-in form is complete, and your balance is paid.

Driving or getting an Uber is the best way of experiencing the picturesque area. As you already know, there's plenty of parking available on the property as well.

We want you to enjoy your stay! It’s likely you won’t see me during your visit, which allows you more privacy and convenience.

Neighbourhood

The home is one of the oldest structures nestled in Millbrook, AL. Millbrook is a quaint little town with a lot of historical significance. Situated between the bigger cities of Prattville and Wetumpka, the town is easily accessible with all modes of transport.

It is located just off Hwy 14 and sits approximately 15 minutes north of Montgomery.

The town has a host of amenities and services. Shops, restaurants, and bars are also nearby.

Important sleeping note: Four bedrooms have permanent queen beds. The fifth sleeping area uses two queen air mattresses. This is an historic home with the character and quirks that come with its age—not a newly built hotel disguised as one.

House Manual

ARRIVING: This home sits on the corner of Main Street, one of the main thoroughfares through town, and Browns Road. The GPS should bring you straight here. The property has a white fence out front and three entrances from the road. The MAIN HOUSE has a semicircle driveway in front — park there. Walk up four to five stairs to the front door, where the electronic smart lock deadbolt is. Check-in is anytime after 4 PM; your door code starts working at that time.

PARKING: The semicircle driveway in front of the main house is yours. The cottage and cabin have their own separate driveway, divided from the main house driveway by a white picket fence.

THE FRONT DOOR LOCK: The electronic smart lock does NOT lock automatically. Lock it each time you leave. If your code doesn't work, message us right away — most lock issues are fixed in a minute or two with a quick reset.

SAFETY: Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are installed in the home. Many repurposed materials were used for the outdoor walkways; this home is nearly 200 years old and the walkways can sometimes be uneven or slick. Fireplaces are not for use.

SOMETHING BROKEN OR DAMAGED? Message us with a photo as soon as you notice it. It helps us fix it fast and sort things out fairly.

SLEEPING: Four queen beds plus two queen air mattresses — sleeps up to 12. If you need extra towels or linens, message us and we'll bring more by.

TV: Multiple Smart TVs with apps like Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Netflix. Log in with your own streaming accounts.

THE POOL — PLEASE READ BEFORE ANYONE GETS IN: A parent or responsible adult must supervise children at the pool at all times. Never leave a child unattended near the water, not even for a moment. Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death for children aged 1 to 4, and it happens quickly and quietly. An older child is not a substitute for a parent. If a child goes missing, check the pool first.

The pool is fenced, with a self-closing, self-latching gate. Please keep the gate closed and latched, and never prop it open — a gate that doesn't latch is the single most common way a child reaches the water.

Life-saving equipment is at the pool: a ring buoy and a rescue hook on a pole. This is emergency equipment, not pool toys. Please make sure children understand they are not to play with it — the pole can puncture the pool liner, and damaged equipment is not there when someone actually needs it. Guests are responsible for damage caused by misuse.

The pool is 4 feet deep throughout — no diving. No lifeguard is on duty; you swim at your own risk and assume all liability for pool use. Keep children away from pool drains, pipes and other openings. No pets in the pool. No glass near the pool. Pool rules are also posted on the fence.

The pool is SHARED with guests staying in the cottage and the cabin — there are three homes on this property. Please approach other guests with courtesy. No visitors beyond the guests on your reservation. The pool is open seasonally, May 1 through September, and is closed October through April. It is not heated, so in-season water temperature depends on the weather.

PETS: Pets must be added to your reservation ($50 per stay covers all pets). Please leash pets and clean up after them outdoors, crate them when they're left alone, and keep them off the beds and furniture.

TRASH: Sanitation picks up on Tuesday. Bins go out to the road and come back the same day.

SECURITY & MONITORING: Motion-activated cameras on the exterior only record audio and video at entrances and outdoor areas. No cameras monitor any indoor area. An indoor noise monitor measures sound levels only; it does not record audio or video.

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECKOUT: Message us to request it. Our cleaning company arranges an extra cleaner to make it work, which is what the $20 per hour covers (1-hour minimum). With five bedrooms, early check-in and late checkout are not offered on same-day turnovers here.

CHECKOUT: 11 AM. Your checkout steps are in the house rules and requests on your reservation. Please lock the front door when you leave.
