Pending availability on our calendar, we are happy to accommodate most early check ins and late check outs. The price is $20.00 per hour with a minimum of one hour. Please reach out ASAP to ask for potential extensions.

Please note that pool is seasonal and may be closed during certain times of the year. Fenced in pool in back yard. Pool is only guaranteed to be open June – September due to water temperatures. Our pool is 4 ft deep across so we ask no diving. Swim at your own risk as there is no lifeguard on duty. Please accompany all children under age of 14. It is also shared with private guests from other listings onsite at the property.
Use the front or back yard or enjoy any space in the house. You may access any space inside the house other than the locked supply closet. This home has an electronic lock on the front door.

A bright and unique home built in the 1830s remodelled into an aesthetically pleasing space with a blend of vintage furnishings and eclectic accents throughout the cottage.
There is an open plan arrangement that houses the bedroom area, living area, and dining area. The striking quaint living area provides a comfortable space to relax and entertain and is furnished with a 3-seater sofa, occasional chair, as well as a smart TV.
Adjacent to the living space is the bedroom with a comfy four-poster bed. Linen is provided and a ceiling fan cools the room when required. Wide and tall windows flood the dining area with natural light and the 4-seater dining table offers a formal dining space.
A quirky pocket door leads to a refreshing full bathroom with a shower and toilet. The home boasts of a fully equipped kitchen with all essential appliances and utensils. The mint kitchen also provides complimentary condiments.
The cottage exterior features a swimming pool and a fire-pit which are available for guests’ use. This peaceful retreat conformably sleeps four.

Address: 5121 Main Street (Cottage), Millbrook, AL 36054. Please follow these directions, step-by-step, in order to get into the house and you shouldn’t have a problem.
ARRIVING: This home sits on the corner of Main Street, one of the main thoroughfares through town. and Browns Road. While the GPS should bring you straight here, the property has a white fence out front and three entrances from the road. The main house has a pull through driveway in front. While you’re welcome to pull in here, pulling into the northern most driveway off of Main St will allow you to get much closer to the cottage. The cottage sits behind the main house, to the right of the pool. Please pull forward and park to the right of the cottage. Walk through the white fence and the front door is facing the main house. The home is equipped with an electronic smart lock on the front door. PLEASE LOCK THE DOOR EACH TIME YOU LEAVE AS IT DOES NOT HAVE AN AUTO LOCK FEATURE.

SLEEPING: There is one queen bed as well as air mattress that can sleep a total of 4, if needed. If you need any additional towels or linens, feel free to send me a message and I’ll have more brought by for you.
TV: This property has a Smart TV with Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix, and others. Simply scroll to the corresponding app, login with your credentials, and experience unlimited streaming movies and TV shows.
POOL: We open the pool officially from June – September due to water temperatures. Once opened, our pool is 4 ft deep across so we ask no diving. Swim at your own risk as there no lifeguard on duty. Please accompany all children under age of 14. Pool rules are listed on fence as well.
EARLY CHECK IN REQUESTS:
Before you arrive in town, we need to ensure our previous guests have checked out, that the maid service and maintenance has been through the unit, and that linens and towels are fresh and ready for your visit. All this takes time and needs to be done before you check in. Due to this tight timeframe, early check-ins will need to be manually approved and priced at $20/hour.
PLEASE NOTE: CHECK IN TIME IS ANYTIME AFTER 4PM. The code you’ve been provided will only work starting at that time. Please make your travel plans accordingly.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Fireplaces are not for use. Please be mindful when exploring the areas outside. Many repurposed materials were used for the walkways. This home is nearly 200 years old and the walkways can sometimes be uneven or slick. The pool is also seasonal and may be closed during certain times of the year.
